Baptisms, Christenings & Naming Days
The Celebration.
Whether you are having a Christening, Baptism or even a Naming Day they are all equally as beautiful and important as each. It is a celebration of your Child or Children that brings family together.
“Christening” refers to the naming ceremony (to "christen" means to "give a name to") where as baptism is one of seven sacraments in the Catholic Church.
In the sacrament of “Baptism” the baby's name is used and mentioned, however it is the rite of claiming the child for Christ and his Church that is celebrated.
“Naming Day” A ceremony is a stage at which a person or persons is officially assigned a name. The methods of the practice differ over cultures and religions. The timing at which a name is assigned can vary from some days after birth to several months or many years.
Cost of photography for these events start at $750 for coverage of just the church service and family photos afterwards.
If you would like full coverage of the day it is $950.
This includes starting at the home with some getting ready photos, then onto the church or where ever the event is, documenting the event and then getting some family photos afterwards, then onto the reception if you are having one where I will take some photos of the guests mingling and some of the cake.
You will receive a USB with the photos from the event in both low res images (ready for social media) and hi res images (ready for printing).
Additional coverage is $250/per hour after that.
